A finely painted tin-glazed earthenware vase of hexagonal baluster form, decorated in cobalt blue on a pale bluish-white ground, commonly referred to as Blue Delft. One panel is reserved with a rustic landscape depicting two figures in conversation beneath a tree, with a cottage and a sailboat in the background—rendered in lively brushwork within a scrolled baroque cartouche. The remaining sides are adorned with foliate sprays and stylized motifs. The rim is gently lobed, and the vase rises on a narrow hexagonal foot.

The underside bears a painted mark in underglaze blue resembling a lowercase b above EC, and an unidentified red painter’s mark. The scene and composition are stylistically aligned with work from De Witte Ster, though attribution remains open.

Minor fritting to rim and base; surface wear and glaze abrasions consistent with age. Small firing flaw near the footrim; no restorations.
