Clear blown glass, the body wheel-engraved with foliate sprays and a narrow band of stylized leaves near the shoulder. Fitted with silver mounts at the neck and base, each encircled by a chased laurel wreath band. The tall tapering neck terminates in an ovoid finial. French silver marks stamped on the mounts. Overall, the bottle sits at the intersection of Victorian neoclassical ornament and early Art Nouveau organic detail, giving it a refined, old-world apothecary or gentleman’s dressing-table presence. The compact scale, etched surface, and decorative metalwork suggest it was likely meant as a spirit flask not purely utilitarian but made to display and impress.
Good condition overall. Glass intact with light surface wear and minor scratches, etched decoration clear. Silver mounts show tarnish and small surface marks, consistent with age, but remain solid with an attractive patina.
