Square tile painted in underglaze blue with a biblical scene from the Book of Genesis, showing Abraham poised to sacrifice Isaac beneath a tree, interrupted by an angel emerging from a cloud. The narrative is enclosed within a semi-circular arch and framed by foliate corner motifs characteristic of Delftware from this period.
The tile is housed in a later brass mount with stylized corner fittings. A visible hairline crack extends through the lower quadrant, with surface wear and craquelure consistent with age.
